When Kayley went to visit Alison to pick up Tabiri, she got to meet Alison's Taigans Moynok and Gaziza.  She had been interested in Taigans for years and was already on Alison's interest list.  Meeting Taigans in person is what cemented her interest in bringing one home.

The timing of the litter's birth conflicted with Kayley's plans for breeding her first litter, so she repeatedly hesitated to bring one of the Taigan puppies home.  Happily, Alison talked her into it and Kayley embarked on a new journey.

Taigans are the national dog of Kyrgyzstan.  They are used to hunt a wide variety of game, including wolves, and have been hunted side by side with Golden Eagles for hundreds, if not thousands of years.  They are recognized in Russia and Germany, but not by any major kennel club and most fanciers prefer it stay that way.

While Kayley is not looking to breed Taigans, eventually should would be happy to help preservation efforts in both the United States and Kyrgyzstan.

Azhidar is eyes and cardiac (basic) Normal and will have Hips, Elbows, and Thyroid done before being bred.
