Service Description

***If I am not familiar with your dog, please message me before booking to confirm it is a good fit for you and your dog. This class is geared toward working on leash reactivity versus off leash dog aggression.** If you have questions, please send me an email at instrideazawakh@gmail.com. This class will always be paced to the speed and needs of the dogs in the class. The overall goal is to work around other dogs in public, in a reasonably controlled setting. With each week, we will introduce more distractions and dogs. Initially we will be using a neutral dog as a distraction dog. We will move on to working around the other dogs in the class. From there we will start working in a less controlled environment so the dogs learn how to work around dogs they see out and about in daily life. If the dogs are doing well, the last week or two we will take "field trips" which are classes held in a new location, so dogs can generalize their skills. Class will take place in Issaquah and runs for six weeks. More information on location and setup will be sent a week or so before the first day of class. You will need high value treats, a mat, and a leash no longer than 6'. Upon booking, I will send out my reactivity survey, which I will need returned before the first day of class, so I can know what to expect from each of the dogs in the class. As a general disclaimer, I struggle with chronic health issues. As such, there are times when I will have to take a week off due to my health. I do try to give as much notice as possible when this happens and when it does, we push out an extra week so that you still get the same number of classes.

Cancellation Policy

Students can book alternate offerings in place of class enrollment, but monetary refunds will not be issued. Any missed class can be made up at a future session of the same class offering.
