Service Description

By client request, this is my first time offering this course. In this course we will work a fetch skill, as the title says. However, we will also work on associated skills such as Take, Hold, and Give. We will work on retrieving thrown items, "dead" items, directed retrieves, dumbbell retrieves, toy exchange, send work (such as take a line for Newfoundlands) and more. This class is appropriate if your dog shows some interest in retrieval or at least in toys. It will support those teaching retrieval tasks for service dogs. While we will discuss various methods such as force fetch, this class is play, shaping, catching, and luring based.
