Umbreon

Umbreon was a special little puppy.  He was the smallest in the litter but the feistiest.  He had a wonderful performance home lined up. At 4 four weeks, the litter had coccidia that was promptly treated.  Shortly after, he injured his leg (soft tissue).  Then the entire litter contracted canine herpes virus (CHV).  While not typically fatal in puppies that age, his immune system was compromised and despite doing our best, we lost him at five weeks old.

It was one of the hardest things we have dealt with as breeders.
