Virtual E-Collar Intro Class

Service Description

Virtual classes are held at a set time just as with in person classes - Wednesdays, 5pm Pacific. You will need to be able to set your computer or phone up so that I can watch you and the dog (propping your phone works great usually). You will need internet access, but beyond that, classes should be similar to in person classes from the convenience of your home. The last two days of class, you will need to take a field trip (or at least work in the backyard), so you will likely need to use a phone rather than a computer This class will primarily cover introducing low level e-collar work with the specific goal of recall. However, we will also discuss additional behaviors that can be worked with e-collar such as settle behaviors and duration in stationary behaviors (sit/stay, down/stay, etc). You will need either an E-Collar Technologies or Dogtra collar. I do no recommend any other brands. If you need to purchase an e-collar, I can order E-Collar Technology equipment for you at the dealer price, which is significantly cheaper than they can be found elsewhere. I highly recommend utilizing a bungee collar of some variety. You will need your e-collar, treats, a leash, and a long line for class.
